A U.S. Virgin Island grandma careened down the Cesana Pariol luge track today and lost it near the treacherous Curve 16 - scene of many accidents this week. Hurtling down the track in a green uniform and red helmet (Yuk!), 52-year old Anne Abernathy spun out, damaged her sled, and broke her wrist. She was promptly whisked away to the hospital as a safety precaution - reportedly leaving her false teeth behind, somewhere on the track near Curve 18! ; )
